So... Steve Jobs is back on track with the introduction of the new IPad. It surely looks great, fantastic screen, multi touch, easy to use, NO Flash support, NO GPS and all the usual IPHONE / TOUCH gimzy dimzy.
I giggled when during his presentation after squeezing our stomachs for ten minutes beating around the bush, he dismissed the NETBOOK as being a nuisance in the evolution of technology, and I agree. But then came the IPad. an over grown copy of the IPod touch which is not as portable as an IPhone which gives you exactly what you need when you need it and not as fully scaled as the MacBook. So what is the use for an IPad, It could be summed up in one word : NONE
Another giggle was when during his demo Steve was browsing through the New York Times website and I couldn't help but notice the picturesque Icon depicting a Blue Brick (Flash not enabled) This is one Icon Iphone and Touch users are now used to. What is it with Apple and Flash, why do they insist on not supporting them. True that Flash will soon disappear from the face on the net, but it is currently there and thousands of websites use it.
Now let us summarize:
Is the IPad innovative and useful? - No
Is it necessary to own an IPad? - No
Will I purchase an Ipad? - What are you crazy? of course I WILL.. how can I not have one of them! It looks great and I MUST HAVE ONE... NOOOOWWW
This is my opinion
